Davor Vuković, b 1951, Croatian painter and author, winner of The Medal of the City of Zagreb for painting (1985) and The Medal of the Town of Zaprešić for literature (2004).In more than twenty years of artistic activity he realized more than fifty one-man exhibitions in Croatia and also represented Croatia in one-man exhibitions in Lyon, London and Zurich from 1999 to 2003.He published four graphic portfolios.In 2009. Davor Vukovic exhibit first time in New York, Tribeca at Ico Gallery group show called “Collide”. He was the author of the May in Ico Gallery.In 2010. he exibit second time in New York at MC Gallery group show and Ico Gallery group show called “Heat”. Same year he exhibit with Elisabeth Ochsenfeld from Heidelberger Akademie at Art Museum in Timsoara, Romania and in Warmia and Mazury Music Hall in Olsztyn, Poland with most famous and greatest artists from the whole world. In 2010., he published his first monograph. The writer of the monograph is Darko Glavan, and editor is academician Tonko Maroević. In 2004 he published his first collection of poems called «Gatara» («Fortune-teller»).In 2007. “ Ceres ” published his second collection of poems called “ Lean on the silence”. Davor Vuković is a member of Croatian Association of visual artists, and Croatian Composers Society.
